Indiana Field and Girder 3 (2004)
Two magnificent trees combined to make one. The top is a plantation oak from Georgia, a tree as big as four houses. the bottom tree sits by itself respected by the Indiana farmer who turned the earth all around it. Both reminders of the forest that covered this country when the white man arrived. A seat from a tractor that helped remove those forest. In the bottom corner an isolated stand.
