Apothecary series 2006
The Apothecary series was started for a client, Aptuit. I needed props and went to the owner of our very old school pharmacy in town. He supplied me with implements they have kept through multiple generations of use. The science labs in the local University campus let me photograph their equipment as well. I combined this with photos of botanicals that my neighbors and I grow, along with photos I was able to take of botanical prints from the collection of the Smith Rare Book Library.
