Lamp series 2011-2012

This 2011 series of hand made lamps are completely customizable. Their roots are in the many large mobile projects that have come out of our studio. The materials used in the lamps are a polycarbonate form with mahogany stretchers. This is covered by a translucent fabric with imagery specific to each lamp. We can print and mount individual lamp panels up to 48” in width and 96” in length. Some of the lamp panels are sewn together and some are joined with wooden frames. These are designed to be low wattage fixtures and use a minimal cord to enhance the feeling of a floating piece. The weight is no more than a few pounds for the largest lamp. they are suspended by very heavy duty monofilament line or stainless steel leader.
