Japan Composite series 2000
These larger scale pieces were done at home after returning from my travels. Working towards a more abstract series, I found that the combination of found texture (dried fish at market) and my painted textures scanned into a digital library echoed my hand made collaging. This became the basis of most of my work for the next ten years. It is hard to remember that this was a totally unique process back then.
