Northern Summer series 2012
Early mornings out on the Connecticut River before the power boats are out usually means fog as the river cools the air above it. Usually I am out there for the workout but the beauty of the early morning stillness means I have to just go slow and take a camera sometimes. Eagles and Osprey are returning and their numbers are growing. If I am lucky, every once in a while I get to see them scoop a fish from the water in their talons. Gliding silently near the shore under the overhanging branches they will wait a long time before taking off from their perch high above.
